This archive provides three different choices for Dragonflight (Build 10.2.7.55664). While they share the same map files and likely the same core foundation (TrinityCore Retail branch), they differ in packaging and management tools.
The Archive Includes:
| Core Name | Type | Startup Method | Best For... |
| Retail Core | Base / Open | UniServerZ | Developers. This is likely the cleanest compile of the main source. It uses UniServerZ (a portable WAMP stack) to manage the database, making it ideal if you want a clean environment to work on. |
| Draconic-WoW | Custom / Server | UniServerZ | Players. This repack typically comes from the "Draconic" private server project. It often includes fixes or scripts specific to their live realm, potentially offering more playable content than the base Retail Core. |
| DekkCore | Packaged | Batch Files | Traditionalists. Unlike the other two, this uses standard .bat files to start the server. If you hate using UniController/UI tools and just want the classic "Start Database -> Start World" console experience, pick this one. |
The startup process depends entirely on which core you choose to extract.
These use a visual controller for the database.
Go to the UniServerZ folder.
Run UniController.exe.
Click "Start MySQL" to launch the database.
Once the database is green/running, go back to the main folder and run Bnetserver.exe and Worldserver.exe.
Run Start Database.bat.
Run Bnetserver.exe.
Run Worldserver.exe.
Critical Step: The archive shares map files to save space, but you must manually install the Movement Maps (MMaps) to prevent bugs (like mobs walking through walls or under the floor).
Download MMaps: Download Link
Install: Extract the MMaps into the ClientData folder (where the maps and vmaps are located).
Enable in Config:
Open the worldserver.conf of the repack you are using and ensure this setting is enabled:
mmap.enablePathFinding = 1
Note: Do not move or rename the ClientData folder unless you also edit the DataDir path in your config file.
Dragonflight is easier to set up than Shadowlands because it does not require the Arctium Launcher or HEX editing.
Download the Client:
Use the Firestorm Dragonflight Client (Mini or Full).
Configure Portal:
Open WTF/Config.wtf.
Set the portal to local:
SET portal "127.0.0.1"
Launch:
Run WoW.exe directly.

Q: I get a "Database Connection" error with Retail/Draconic.
A: You probably didn't click "Start MySQL" in the UniController. These repacks do not have a "Start Database.bat"; you must use the controller tool.
Q: Do I need the Arctium Launcher like in Shadowlands?
A: No. Build 10.2.7 (Firestorm) supports custom portals natively. Just edit the Config.wtf.
Q: Why do mobs ignore walls?
A: You didn't enable the MMaps. Download the MMap files linked above, place them in ClientData, and set mmap.enablePathFinding = 1 in your worldserver.conf.
