Mandatory Technical Setup

Before launching any of these clients, you must perform these steps to avoid "Write Access" or "CAS" errors:

1. Remove Read-Only Flag: * Right-click the game folder -> Properties.

   • Uncheck Read-only at the bottom.

   • Click Apply and select "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files."

2. Clean Start: * Delete the Cache, Errors, Logs, and WTF folders inside the game directory.

   • This prevents the client from trying to load old server data or localized settings that don't match your environment.

3. Language Settings (Legion+): * If the client defaults to Russian, open WTF/Config.wtf in Notepad.

   • Change all instances of ruRU to enUS.
